The purpose of this awareness day is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than 1 billion people worldwide with disabilities or impairments.

May is brain cancer awareness month – a time to spread awareness, show support and raise funds for life-saving research.

Did you know that brain cancer can affect anyone, at any age? In fact, it’s the sixth leading cause of cancer burden in Australia with around 2,000 people diagnosed each year. It’s the ninth most common cause of cancer death among Australian adults and leading cause of cancer death in children aged 0 to 14 years. And while survival rates for many other cancers have increased over the last 30 years, survival rates for brain tumours have barely improved.
