Concession fares are available for eligible passengers with a valid identification when travelling between Brisbane Airport and South East Queensland Suburban stations. Concession fares do not apply for travel between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City stations.
Please note that you must carry your proof of concession entitlement with you at all times and show it to the driver or authorised person when asked.
Purchasing tickets
At the station: You can purchase eligible concession tickets at arrival to the station. You must provide your valid identification in order to receive the concession fare.
Travel by go card: Children and Concession go cards can be purchased at the station. Please check the card advice below for applicability.
Online: In order to purchase a concession ticket your identification must be verified, therefore it cannot be purchased online however if you are travelling to Brisbane City or purchasing a return ticket the cheapest fare is online.
Travel with Smart Ticketing: The payment system does not currently support concession fares.

A 50% concession applies for the Translink network only, Airtrain is not included.
Discounted travel is available between Brisbane City and South East Queensland Suburban stations is provided to the cardholder of a Pensioner Concession Card. The cardholder will need to purchase a valid ticket for travel on Airtrain.
Ticket types:
- A paper ticket can be purchased on arrival at the station. A valid identification must be provided to staff to be entitled to the discount.
- A concession go card can be purchased at the station. There is a $30 minimum cost for a go card, a $5 deposit for the card plus $25 for preloaded travel credit.
- If you are travelling to Brisbane City or purchasing a return ticket, the cheapest fare is an Adult ticket online.

- A concession go card can be purchased at the station. There is a $30 minimum cost for a go card, a $5 deposit for the card plus $25 for preloaded travel credit.

Please note that only the cards with File No. prefix Q are eligible for concession.

Free travel is available for infants (0-4 years). A ticket is not required.

To purchase a valid ticket for travel you must provide a Queensland student photo identification card, Home Education identification card, or be wearing an official Queensland school uniform.
