The following stations are closed for Cross River Rail construction works and accessibility upgrades.
Moorooka station will be closed from 2nd March 2026 until late-2027. Click here for alternative services information.
From Friday 3 until Thursday 30 April, there will be major track closures and travel changes for works to improve your rail network.
Some journeys may take significantly longer than usual.
Please consider your travel options, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
Changes for each line will vary and your best travel option may change throughout April. See below for impacts.

Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines will run as a combined service between Banoon and Varsity Lakes stations. |

These project works are essential to upgrade South East Queensland’s rail network as it undergoes a once-in-a-generation transformation to support our growing population.
The scale and complexity of these works requires a longer closure period to keep workers safe and complete as much work as possible.
