Track work on the Gold Coast Line

All Airtrain services to and from the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Roma Street and Altandi Stations on Sunday 12th October 2025.

Travelling to the Airport

  • Brisbane City travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Altandi and Roma Street stations.
    • If you are travelling from South Brisbane, South Bank, and Boggo Road stations catch a train to Roma Street station and change for a connecting train to the Airport station.
  • Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel:
    • The trains will be operating on altered timetable as train will run express via the Tennyson Loop between Roma Street and Altandi stations. Please plan your journey using the Translink journey planner.
  • All other services are not impacted.

 

Travelling from the Airport

  • Brisbane City travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Altandi and Roma Street stations.
    • If you are travelling to South Brisbane, South Bank, and Boggo Road stations catch a train to Roma Street station and change for a connecting train to your destination.
  • Gold Coast and Beenleigh travel:
