Trackwork on the Gold Coast Line
All Airtrain services to and from the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Boggo Rd and Banoon Stations on Saturday 30th May to Sunday 31st May 2026. Rail Buses will replace trains in both directions.
Rail replacement buses will be operating between Boggo Road and Banoon stations with trains on the Gold Coast running as a combined all stop service with the Beenleigh line between Banoon and Varsity Lakes stations.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport
- From Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines:

- Catch an all stops train to Banoon station and transfer to a rail replacement bus to Boggo Rd station, then change for a connecting train to the Airport station.
Travelling from Brisbane Airport
- To Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines:
- Travel via train to Boggo Rd station and transfer to a rail replacement bus to Banoon, then change for a connecting train to your destination.
TRAVEL TIP: When travelling on the rail replacement bus, place your luggage on the seat next to you or under the seat so it is within easy reaching distance. You may also ask your bus driver for ramp assistance when entering or exiting the bus to assist with your luggage.
Please note due to changes in the service at Queensland Rail stations, Airtrain cannot guarantee the same level of accessibility.
