Track work on the city and the Gold Coast Line
All Airtrain services to and from the city and the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Roma Street and Park Road to Cleveland, Banoon and Beenleigh stations on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November 2023.
Trackwork also affects Beenleigh, & Cleveland lines.
Travelling to Brisbane Airport
- All trains from the Gold Coast travelling to the Airport will terminate at Beenleigh station where customers will disembark and travel by an express rail replacement bus to Roma Street station. At Roma Street station, customers will board the train to travel to the Airport.
- If you are travelling from South Brisbane, South Bank, and Park Road stations catch the train (Shorncliffe line) and transfer train at Roma Street station to travel to the Airport.
Travelling from Brisbane Airport
- All trains travelling to the Gold Coast will terminate at Roma Street station where customers will disembark and travel by an express rail replacement bus to Beenleigh station and catch a connecting train to Gold Coast line.
- If you are travelling to South Brisbane, South Bank, and Park Road stations disembark at Roma Street station and change train (Cleveland line) to your destination.
Delays of up to 60 minutes may be expected. Passengers travelling to or from the airport should allow extra travel time.
