Brisbane Airport to your Gold Coast Destination

The Airtrain runs express from Brisbane City and stops at all Gold Coast train stations; Coomera, Helensvale, Nerang, Robina and Varsity Lakes.

The AirtrainConnect service includes the train and a chauffeured vehicle between the Brisbane Airport and your Gold Coast accommodation or private addresses including AirBnB. Transfers are available between Sanctuary Cove and Coolangatta only.

When travelling with AirtrainConnect, all luggage requirements are catered for at no extra cost and child seats are available.

Bookings can be arranged by pre-booking online, over the phone or at the Airtrain Station on arrival. Discounts are available for pre-booking on-line, up to 15% for 7 or more days in advance, family discounts are also available.

What to Expect

Travelling Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast

When you book a service on the Airtrain website we do not confirm a train time. Airtrain staff will arrange your tickets for the next departing train once you make yourself known to staff at the Brisbane Airtrain station. They will also arrange your chauffeured vehicle to meet you at the advised station at this time. When you disembark at the advised station your driver will be waiting for you with your name on a board to take you to your destination. If travelling on a return basis, Airtrain staff will arrange the return pickup time with you before you depart for the Gold Coast.

Need a break on the way?

You can make your journey more relaxing by making a stop in Brisbane City. Please speak to Airtrain Staff on arrival at the airport so they can make the correct arrangements for you. This service is available in both directions at no extra cost.

Travelling Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast

This journey is only available on a one-way basis and can be pre-booked online, over the phone or at the Station.

Travelling from the Gold Coast to Brisbane Airport

When travelling from the Gold Coast to Brisbane Airport using the AirtrainConnect service, your pickup time is scheduled at the time of booking and this will be shown on your emailed confirmation. Your emailed confirmation will also have your one-way e-ticket attached for travel to the airport. If you have booked a return transfer please see Airtrain staff on your arrival back to Brisbane – they will arrange your return tickets and chauffeur to meet you at your Gold Coast station. You must call the AirtrainConnect office on 1800 119 091 at least 24 hours before your travel date to arrange any changes to this pickup time if required.

How to use AirtrainConnect from Gold Coast?

Pre-book your chauffeur transfer online or by phone. Make sure you do this 24 hours in advance.

Your driver will arrive at your nominated address at the designated booking time to pick you up.

You will travel to the closest Gold Coast train station to travel directly to Brisbane Airport.

When you arrive at the Airport station, present your e-ticket to staff for scanning.

Declare luggage accurately for a smooth transfer

Vehicles based on your luggage requirements

In order to correctly assign your vehicle, we require that you provide accurate information for your luggage including any oversized luggage.

If you have less than 2 large and 2 small suitcases you can be accommodated in a sedan vehicle. However, if you are carrying oversized luggage or more suitcases you will require a larger vehicle. There are also trailers which can be assigned if your luggage arrangements require.

Please input the correct information when booking to ensure you receive a vehicle suiting your transfers needs and that you are not delayed on your journey.
