Your City ticket is valid for travel to and from all stations between the Brisbane Airport and South Brisbane including: Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central Station and Roma Street Station.

Airtrain services to Brisbane City

We are proud to support the Queensland Government’s initiative to help make transport more accessible and affordable. In partnership with the Queensland Government, Airtrain services between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City stations will be half-price, costing $10.95!*

Brisbane City stations include Eagle Junction, Wooloowin, Albion, Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street and South Brisbane.

Airtrain services across the network

Customers travelling further than Brisbane City will be entitled to half-price Airtrain fares plus the flat rate of 50 cents to travel to any other station on the Queensland Rail network, making the total fare $11.45*.

This offer can also be combined with the G:link tram, so travelling between Brisbane Airport and Surfers Paradise on Airtrain and tram will cost $11.95*.

*The half-price Airtrain City fare for $10.95 is available online at airtrain.com.au, or by using a go card or contactless debit or credit card. The paper ticket fare, from a fare machine or station office at Airtrain or Queensland Rail, will be $11.00.

Valid for travel between 5 August 2024 – 9 February 2025.
This offer is not able to be pre-booked before 5 August 2024.
The half-price fare offer is only applicable on adult fares between Brisbane Domestic and International Airport stations and Brisbane City stations (Eagle Junction, Wooloowin, Albion, Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street, and South Brisbane). All suburban train stations and G:link tram stations will be charged under the Queensland Government 50 cent fare offer (see below).
This eticket is transferable for a name change or a date change before 9 February 2025. To transfer this ticket, you must notify us before the date of travel. If you require a date change after 9 February 2025, the cost of your ticket will be credited to your new booking, you will be charged the price difference.
