Track work on the Brisbane City and the Gold Coast Line

Airtrain services will still be in operation between Saturday 20^th and Sunday 21^st December 2025.

Due to Queensland Rail track maintenance and construction works, all Airtrain services to and from the Brisbane City and the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Eagle Junction and Roma Street stations and between Roma Street and Banoon stations on Saturday 20^th and Sunday 21^st December 2025.

Rail replacement buses will be operating between Roma Street station and Eagle Junction station.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport

All trains from Eagle Junction will depart 12 minutes earlier than the normal timetable. Please plan your journey on the Translink Journey planner.

From Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines:
- Catch an all stops train to Banoon station and then transfer to an express rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

- Please note, trains will be operating on an altered timetable between Varsity Lakes and Banoon stations.

From Boggo Road, South Bank and South Brisbane stations:
- Travel via train to Roma Street Station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

From Roma Street, Central, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Albion and Wooloowin stations:
- Catch a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

From Caboolture, Nambour and Sunshine Coast lines:
- This train will continue to Airport line, stay on board to travel to the Airport.

From Shorncliffe and Redcliffe Peninsula lines:
- Change trains at Northgate station to travel to the Airport.

From Doomben line:
- This service terminates at Eagle Junction, change trains at Eagle Junction station.

From Ferny Grove line:
- Travel via a rail replacement bus to Roma Street or Central stations and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

From Cleveland, Springfield, Ipswich, and Rosewood lines:
- Travel via train to Roma Street Station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

Travelling from Brisbane Airport

- Travel via train to Eagle Junction station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Roma Street Station. Then transfer to a connecting train to your destination.

To Roma Street, Central, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Albion and Wooloowin stations:
- Travel via train to Eagle Junction station. Then transfer to a connecting rail replacement bus to your destination.

To Caboolture, Nambour and Sunshine Coast lines:
- This train will continue the Caboolture and Nambour line, please stay onboard to travel to your destination.

To Shorncliffe and Redcliffe Peninsula lines:
- Change trains at Northgate station to travel to your destination.

To Doomben line:
- Change trains at Eagle Junction station to Doomben station.

To Ferny Grove line:
- Travel via train to Eagle Junction station. Then transfer to a connecting rail replacement bus to Bowen Hills station for a connecting rail replacement bus to your destination.

To Cleveland, Springfield, Ipswich, and Rosewood lines:
- Travel via train to Eagle Junction station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Roma Street Station. Then transfer to a connecting train to your destination.

TRAVEL TIP: When travelling on the rail replacement bus, place your luggage on the seat next to you or under the seat so it is within easy reaching distance. You may also ask your bus driver for ramp assistance when entering or exiting the bus to assist with your luggage.

Airtrain services will still be in operation between Monday 22^nd to Wednesday 24^th December 2025. Due to Queensland Rail track maintenance and construction works, all train services to and from the Brisbane City and the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Eagle Junction and Roma Street stations from Monday 22^nd to Wednesday 24^th December 2025.

Rail replacement buses will be operating between Roma Street station and Eagle Junction station.

- Travel via train to Roma Street Station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

From Roma Street, Central, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Albion and Wooloowin stations:
- Catch a rail replacement bus to Eagle Junction station. Then catch a connecting train to the Airport from Eagle Junction station.

Travel via train to Eagle Junction station. Then transfer to a connecting rail replacement bus to your destination.

To Shorncliffe line:
- This train will continue Sandgate Station on the Shorncliffe line, please stay onboard to travel to your destination.
To Doomben line:
- Change trains at Eagle Junction station to Doomben station.
To Ferny Grove line:

Travel via train to Eagle Junction station. Then transfer to a connecting rail replacement bus to Bowen Hills station for a connecting rail replacement bus to your destination.

To Cleveland, Springfield, Ipswich, and Rosewood lines:
- Travel via train to Eagle Junction station and then transfer to a rail replacement bus to Roma Street Station. Then transfer to a connecting train to your destination.

Airtrain services will still be in operation between Thursday 25^th (Christmas Day) to Sunday 28^th December 2025. Due to Queensland Rail track maintenance and construction works, all train services to and from the Brisbane City and the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Eagle Junction and Roma Street stations from Thursday 25^th to Sunday 28^th December 2025.

Rail replacement buses will be operating between Roma Street station and Eagle Junction station.

Airtrain services will still be in operation for these closures.

Due to Queensland Rail track maintenance and construction works, train services to the Gold Coast will be affected by track work between Yeerongpilly and Banoon stations on Saturday 3^rd – Sunday 4^th and Saturday 10^th – Sunday 11^th January 2026.

Rail replacement buses will be operating between Yeerongpilly and Banoon station with trains on the Gold Coast running as a combined all stop service with the Beenleigh line between Banoon and Varsity Lakes stations.
