What To Do For Easter in Brisbane

Easter Markets (23 March)

Before the Easter long weekend, head along to the Murrumba Easter Market for a cracking good time. You can take a leisurely evening stroll through the markets featuring stalls selling handmade treasures and homemade goodies. There will also be food trucks, live local music, Easter bunny meet-and-greets and a free Easter egg hunt!

Easter Sunday Games and Candyland Putt Putt (March/April)

Victoria Park Golf Club will be celebrating Easter with a special sugar-coated themed 18-hole mini golf course to mark the season. Easter Candyland Putt Putt is a family-friendly Easter activity with epic views of Brisbane city and challenging terrain. For an Easter Sunday treat, there will also be giant games and live music.

Bluewater Festival (28 and 29 March)

The famous Bluewater Festival held at Shorncliffe Pier has been held annually over Easter since 1949. It provides the best waterfront views for the start of Australia’s second biggest yacht race, the 75th Brisbane to Gladstone. The festival is jam packed with live bands, kids’ workshops, rides, food and markets. On the Friday evening there is also a beach party and fireworks.

For a laid-back Easter celebration, pack a picnic and a blanket for a riverside Easter picnic. With a range of beautiful parklands and scenic spots to choose from across the city, you can relax on the grass while enjoying some tasty Easter treats. What To Do For Easter on the Gold Coast

Easter in the Laneway (29 – 31 March)

Hop into Cavill Lane for Easter in the Laneway, a local Gold Coast Easter weekend tradition delivering live music, entertainment, food and free face painting. From 12–2pm on Saturday and Sunday you can capture a memory with the Easter bunny when he makes a special appearance!

Easter Yoga & Meditation Retreat (28 March – 1 April)

Sunday Sounds – Easter Edition (31 March)

On Easter Sunday the monthly Sunday Sounds at Paradise Point Parklands will host a special Easter edition. Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of sweet soul music in the sunshine as you – and be sure to bring your camp chair, snacks and good company!

 

Travelling to your Easter activities
