Here’s To Adventure in Brisbane

Here’s To Adventure in Brisbane

There’s no doubt about it – Brisbane is the ultimate destination year round. The weather is getting cooler, but Brisbane is perfectly beautiful at any time of year. Here’s to adventure in Brisbane!

Head to Brisbane and check out the exciting year round activities or world-class special events that the River City has to offer. An adventure is always just around the corner.

Welcome to Winter

The Brisbane weather is world-renowned for offering beautiful sunny days, year round. The temperature very rarely goes below 10 degrees even at night, and the warm winter days generally get above 20 degrees so you can continue to enjoy the great outdoors. There are so many natural treasures to discover, and there’s no need to check the calendar. Check out the walking tracks to get out into nature – or for incredible cultivated gardens, there are several botanic gardens to choose from.

If you’re into more active adventures, there are options right in the heart of Brisbane – head to Riverlife to find a range of adrenaline-fuelled activities and a new way to see the city. Whether you’re in search of the perfect spot to have a picnic, a scenic walk in the city or in the bushland, or a memorably adventurous excursion, Brisbane has it all – and the perfect weather to enjoy it in.

Events City

Catch all the action in Brisbane, no matter where your interests lie. All the major musical, sporting, and cultural events make Brisbane a top stop, offering world class entertainment from international and local talent. The Brisbane Powerhouse is a much-loved venue set right by the riverside, and hosts over 1,250 shows from around the world. Suncorp Stadium hosts incredible sporting and music action – check out our blog on upcoming events, or head to the stadium’s website to see what’s coming up next.

There’s also the Gabba, for cricket, AFL, and more! You’ll find smaller venues with some pretty big acts dotted around the city – check out the Eatons Hill Hotel with their exciting line up including UB40 and tribute acts that happen year-round. The home of culture is the Brisbane Cultural Centre, especially the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Brisbane also caters to families, with pop-up movies, kids entertainment and workshops around the city in various locations, and usually free of charge. Check out what’s on here.

Back to Business

We’re back in business – as everything regains momentum after the pandemic pause, Brisbane is right in the thick of all the most important business events. We’re hosting conferences and workshops from major international and local companies, utilising our world-class hosting facilities. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre has the space and capacity to hold anything from smaller industry conventions to large-scale exhibitions. The modern, spacious design is the perfect setting for any business event, and the central location and easy access to public transport ensure visitors from anywhere in the world can participate in these exciting events. We’re also committing to championing First Nations businesses. With National Reconciliation Week coming up, the spotlight is on Indigenous industry and how Brisbane can support and promote these incredible initiatives.
