The temperature very rarely goes below 10 degrees even at night, and the warm winter days generally get above 20 degrees so you can continue to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you’re in search of the perfect spot to have a picnic, a scenic walk in the city or in the bushland, or a memorably adventurous excursion, Brisbane has it all – and the perfect weather to enjoy it in.
Events City
Catch all the action in Brisbane, no matter where your interests lie. All the major musical, sporting, and cultural events make Brisbane a top stop, offering world class entertainment from international and local talent. The Brisbane Powerhouse is a much-loved venue set right by the riverside, and hosts over 1,250 shows from around the world. You’ll find smaller venues with some pretty big acts dotted around the city – check out the Eatons Hill Hotel with their exciting line up including UB40 and tribute acts that happen year-round. The home of culture is the Brisbane Cultural Centre, especially the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Getting Around for Brisbane Adventures
Your journey with Airtrain is the best way to kickstart your sunny adventure in Brisbane. You will arrive quickly and comfortably from the airport to Brisbane City in just 20 minutes. You can disembark at your chosen city station – Airtrain runs express from the airport, but stops at Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street, and South Brisbane stations.
While you’re in Brisbane, short term visitors should check out the go seeQ card, which allows you unlimited travel for 3 or 5 consecutive days on buses, trains, ferries, and trams. It also includes 2 Airtrain journeys to/from the Brisbane Airport.
For longer stays, travel like the locals with a go card – just touch on at your station of departure and touch off when you arrive at your destination.
