Track work on the Brisbane City and Gold Coast Line
Due to Cross River Rail construction works, all Airtrain services to the Gold Coast will run express via the Tennyson Loop on Monday 24th June 2024 to Friday 28th June 2024. Due to this change in route, stations between Roma Street and Altandi stations will require a train transfer.

Travelling to Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Altandi and Roma Street station. All trains travelling from Varsity Lakes will depart 5 minute earlier than the normal timetable between Varsity Lakes and Altandi stations.
- Brisbane City travel:
- If you are travelling from South Brisbane, South Bank, or Park Road stations catch a train (Shorncliffe or Ferny Grove line) to Roma Street station to catch a connecting train to the Airport.
- Beenleigh travel: Catch a train to Banoon station, then transfer to a rail replacement bus between Banoon and Park Road stations and change trains to travel to Roma Street station to catch a connecting train to the Airport.
- All other services are not impacted. (Note: Doomben line does not operate on Sunday)

Travelling from Brisbane Airport
- Gold Coast travel: The train will run express (via the Tennyson Loop) between Roma Street and Altandi stations. All trains travelling from Airport towards the Varsity Lakes will arrive 5 to 8 minutes later than the normal timetable between Altandi and Varsity Lakes stations. (Note: trains will depart 12 min later between Altandi and Varsity Lakes stations for trains departing from Airport station from 5:34 am to 8:04 am)
- Brisbane City travel: If you are travelling to South Brisbane, South Bank, or Park Road stations catch a train (Cleveland line or Park Road train) and transfer at Roma Street station to travel to your destination.
- Beenleigh travel: Catch a train to Roma Street stations, then change trains (Cleveland line or Park Road train) at Roma Street station to travel to Park Road station and catch a rail replacement bus between Park Road and Banoon stations and a train to your destination.
- All other services are not impacted. (Note: Doomben line does not operate on Sunday)
