Outdoor Lifestyle

In Brisbane, it’s “Summer, Always” – and the locals take full advantage of the ideal climate by getting outdoors as much as possible. Home to some of the most beautiful picnic spots, enjoy the sun in one of Brisbane’s gardens, or spend some time along the river. If you prefer, you can even get out on the river – there are a number of tour companies who are happy to take you kayaking on the Brisbane River. One of the most well-known is the Riverlife Adventure Centre located on the Kangaroo Point cliffs. Getting Around

Your journey with Airtrain marks the start of your sunny adventure in Brisbane.  You will arrive quickly and comfortably from the airport to Brisbane City in 20 minutes. You can disembark at your chosen city station – Airtrain runs express from the airport, but stops at Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street, and South Brisbane stations.  

While you’re in Brisbane, short term visitors should check out the go seeQ card, which allows you unlimited travel for 3 or 5 consecutive days on buses, trains, ferries, and trams. It also includes 2 Airtrain journeys to/from the Brisbane Airport.   

For longer stays, travel like the locals with a go card – just touch on at your station of departure and touch off when you arrive at your destination.
