The annual short film festival is returning to the Gold Coast! Hosted by HOTA, the event will be premiering some of the best short film from Australia and around the globe. Be challenged and entertained as you watch these exciting and award-winning offerings.

CBD Sundown: Laneway Cabaret | 25 Mar

Head to Regent Lane and discover something new as you experience some of the mini-cabaret performances including acrobatics, juggling, roving performers, and local DJs to flood the night with music. Entry is free, and the show times are at 6:20, 7:20, and 8:20. Afterwards, why not check out the local businesses to keep the night rolling.

The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival features international and Australian talent. A free annual event, the festival takes place across outdoor stages and venues throughout the Gold Coast. Getting Around the Gold Coast

If the Gold Coast is your destination, Airtrain runs express to the Gold Coast but stops at all Gold Coast stations. That includes Ormeau, Coomera, Helensvale (connects with G:link tram at Helensvale station), Nerang, Robina, and Varsity Lakes. From there, trams and buses provide connecting services to other locations around the Gold Coast, or you can take advantage of our AirtrainConnect (Train & Transfer) service. 

Brisbane and the Gold Coast are connected by an extensive network of trains, buses, and trams. All Brisbane public transport uses a smart card for travel, or you can purchase a paper ticket. 

Short term visitors should check out the go seeQ card, which allows you unlimited travel for 3 or 5 consecutive days on buses, trains, ferries and trams. It also includes 2 Airtrain journeys to/from the Brisbane Airport. 

For longer stays, travel like the locals with a go card – just touch on at your station of departure and touch off when you arrive at your destination.
